What is a "hybrid" model?

A hybrid homeschool model blends the flexibility of homeschooling with the structure and community of a shared learning environment.

Students attend on-site classes part of the week and complete the remainder of their learning at home under the direction of their parents.

This approach allows families to remain fully homeschooled while benefiting from academic support, enrichment opportunities, and consistent peer interaction.

At its core, the hybrid model is about partnership—supporting parents rather than replacing them.

What is a homeschool hybrid program?

A homeschool hybrid program blends the flexibility of homeschooling with the structure, accountability, and community of in-person instruction. At ENRICHED, students attend on-campus classes for core academics and enrichment while completing additional learning at home under parent guidance.
In many ways, ENRICHED functions similarly to a tutoring or academic support center, offering small-group instruction and accountability while parents remain in control of their child’s education.

Is ENRICHED a full-time school?

No. ENRICHED is not a full-time or umbrella school. We operate similarly to a tutoring or learning center designed specifically for homeschool families. Parents remain the primary educators and are fully responsible for their child’s homeschool program and compliance with Pennsylvania homeschool law.

Is ENRICHED a drop-off program?

Yes. ENRICHED is a drop-off program for students. Parents do not remain on-site during the school day, and there is no mandatory parent volunteer requirement.

Who is responsible for meeting Pennsylvania homeschool requirements?

Parents are solely responsible for meeting all Pennsylvania homeschool requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Completing 180 days of instruction

  • Ensuring required standardized testing at applicable grade levels

  • Securing and submitting end-of-year evaluations

  • Maintaining all required records and documentation

ENRICHED does not act as an umbrella school and does not submit homeschool paperwork on behalf of families.

PA Homeschool Compliance Disclaimer:
ENRICHED Homeschool Hybrid functions as a supplemental instructional and enrichment program. Enrollment at ENRICHED does not fulfill Pennsylvania homeschool legal requirements on its own. Parents acknowledge and agree that they are fully responsible for compliance with all applicable Pennsylvania homeschool laws and regulations.

What academic work is required at home?

ENRICHED expects parents to complete the entire ABEKA Language Arts and Math curriculum for their child on days students are not on campus or if they miss a scheduled class day. This expectation ensures academic consistency, skill mastery, and continuity of instruction.

On-campus instruction is designed to support and reinforce at-home learning—not replace it.

How is ENRICHED different from a tutoring center?

While ENRICHED shares some similarities with a tutoring center, our program is intentionally designed to go beyond academic support alone. By hiring qualified, experienced teachers, ENRICHED provides students with a diversity of instructional input—allowing them to learn from trusted educators in addition to their parents. Our teachers are not only skilled and passionate in their subject areas, but they also serve as positive role models in the Christian faith, reinforcing the values taught at home.

What grades does ENRICHED currently serve?

ENRICHED currently serves Kindergarten through 6th grade, with enrollment limited to five students per grade. We plan to add one grade level per year as the program grows.

What about middle and high school students?

We recognize the need for homeschool community for older students—especially for families enrolling younger siblings. For the 2026–2027 school year, ENRICHED is offering four paid internship positions through our ENRICH Teen Leadership Cohort for students in grades 7–12.

What is the ENRICH Teen Leadership Cohort?

The Teen Leadership Cohort provides selected students the opportunity to:

  • Complete homeschool or cyber school coursework on-site using our teen lobby and Wi-Fi

  • Serve as classroom aides in electives such as gym, art, music, and reading

  • Develop leadership, responsibility, and real-world skills

Teen leaders attend free of charge and gain meaningful experience while supporting our program.

What is the application and admissions process?

All families must complete an application process. Admission is based on program fit, alignment with ENRICHED’s mission and values, and available space. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

What does the program cost?

The cost of ENRICHED Homeschool Hybrid is $1,920 per student for the full academic year.

  • This breaks down to less than $7 per hour per child

  • A $100 non-refundable application fee per family is required

  • In addition, families should plan for a curriculum fee of approximately $200 per student, which covers required instructional materials

ENRICHED is committed to transparency and long-term sustainability. To responsibly support staff, facilities, and program growth, tuition will increase by 3% annually to keep pace with inflation. This typically translates to a tuition increase of approximately $50 per year.

We strive to keep ENRICHED accessible while providing high-quality instruction, enrichment, and a strong learning community.

What about lunch?

Students should pack a lunch each day. ENRICHED provides a designated lunch and recreation time at the end of each day, allowing students to relax, connect with peers, and enjoy supervised free time.

Where is ENRICHED located?

ENRICHED Homeschool Hybrid is located at 111 Second Street, Leechburg, PA, in a dedicated educational facility designed to support learning, safety, and community.

How do we apply or learn more?

Families interested in ENRICHED are encouraged to submit an interest form to be notified when enrollment opens in March. Additional information, tours, and next steps will be shared with interested families.

These stations provide engaging, low-stimulation activities—such as reading, drawing, puzzles, legos, or quiet games—that help students transition smoothly toward dismissal while remaining focused and well-regulated. This approach reinforces responsibility, independence, and self-control, while ending the day on a peaceful and positive note.

Kindergarten Schedule

Kindergarten students remain in their own dedicated cohort for the full day, with developmentally appropriate instruction, movement, breaks, and enrichment tailored specifically to their age group.

Questions on Student Conduct

ENRICHED is committed to creating a focused, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

  • K–6 students are not permitted to bring cell phones to ENRICHED.
If a parent needs to reach their child during the school day, families may contact the school phone line, and staff will assist as needed.

  • ENRICHED does not encourage student use of social media during the school day or as part of our program culture.

  • Any internet access provided on-site is subject to school-wide internet filters designed to restrict access to inappropriate or unsafe content. These filters apply to all devices connected to ENRICHED’s network.

  • Students participating in the Teen Leadership Cohort who use the Teen Lounge and school Wi-Fi should not expect privacy on their devices. Internet use is monitored, and access is provided for educational purposes only.

These policies are in place to support student safety, minimize distractions, and promote responsible technology use aligned with our values

What are the expectations for student conduct?

ENRICHED is committed to providing a respectful, orderly, and encouraging learning environment. Students are expected to uphold standards of conduct that support both academic success and community well-being.

Students are expected to:

  • Arrive on time and ready to learn

  • Bring required materials each day, including:

Classroom behavior expectations include:

ENRICHED partners with families to reinforce these expectations and cultivate a positive, Christ-centered learning environment where all students can thrive.
